Visitor Operations Host: Admissions and Reservations

Reports to: JORVIK Group Admissions & Reservations Team Leader
Salary: £8.50 per hour
Holiday: Pro rata per hours worked
Hours of Work: Various, weekends and bank holidays included.

JORVIK are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging member of staff to join their experienced team.

This is a full time fixed term contract up to Sunday 3rd November 2019, for which a potential extension of the date will then be reviewed.

The rate of pay is £8.50 per hour and holiday pay is accrued on a pro rata basis per hours worked. (Includes bank holiday entitlement)

The key purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth and efficient daily running of the Front of House admissions area at JORVIK as well as processing sales, fielding enquiries and securing bookings over the telephone as part of our reservations team.

The role requires excellent customer care and communication skills, a background in a similar telephone sales role is desirable. You should have excellent people skills, a positive attitude to working with the public and be extremely reliable.

Visitor Operations Host: Ambassador

Reports to: JORVIK Group Admissions & Reservations Team Leader
Salary: £8.50 per hour
Holiday: Pro rata per hours worked
Hours of Work: Holiday periods only excluding Christmas holidays

JORVIK are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging member of staff to join their experienced team.

This is a casual contract for school holidays only.

The rate of pay is £8.50 per hour and holiday pay is accrued on a pro rata basis per hours worked. (Includes bank holiday entitlement)

The key purpose of the role is to up sell secondary spend items on the JORVIK queue whilst also providing customers with information about all our attractions and actively encouraging sales of the JORVIK Group Pastport.

The role requires excellent customer care and communication skills, a background in a similar sales role is desirable. You should have excellent people skills, a positive attitude to working with the public and be extremely reliable.

Reports to: JORVIK Group Retail Manager and Deputy Retail Team Leader
Salary: £8.50 per hour
Holiday: Pro rata per hours worked
Hours of Work: Various, weekend and bank holidays included

JORVIK are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging member of staff to join their experienced team.

This is a full time fixed term contract up to Sunday 3rd November 2019, for which a potential extension of the date will then be reviewed.

Reports to:  JORVIK Group Interactive Team Leader and Deputy Interactive Team Leader
Salary: £8.50 per hour

Hours of Work: Various, weekend and bank holidays included

JORVIK are seeking enthusiastic and engaging members of staff to join their experienced team.

These are full time & part time fixed term contracts up to Sunday 3rd November 2019, for which a potential extension of the date will then be reviewed.

The rate of pay is £8.50 per hour and holiday pay is accrued on a pro rata basis per hours worked. (Includes bank holiday entitlement)

The key purpose of the role is to engage the public and schools in History and Archaeology as interpreted by the York Archaeological Trust, whilst in authentic Viking costume

The role requires excellent customer care and communication skills, a background in similar customer facing roles is desirable. You should have excellent people skills, a positive attitude to working with the public, and be extremely reliable.

Reports to: Visitor Operations Manager and Deputy.

This is a part time fixed term contract up to Sunday 3rd November 2019, for which a potential extension of the date will then be reviewed.

The rate of pay is £8.50 per hour and holiday pay is accrued on a pro rata basis per hours worked. (Includes bank holiday entitlement)

The key purpose of the role is to engage the public and schools in History and Archaeology as interpreted by the York Archaeological Trust. As part of your role there will also be admissions and retail duties so you will be encouraged to actively up sell products in the gift shop and process customers through the admissions tills and promote gift aid.
