Residents’ Festival at The JORVIK Group

As a thank you to the residents of York for their continued support all the attractions within The JORVIK Group are offering free entry over the weekend of the 27th – 28th January.

From Romans to Victorians, medieval knights to modern-day archaeologists our 5 city-centre attractions are the place to come for the best day out in history!

York Residents’ Festival is open to all York Residents who have a valid YorkCard, and all students studying in York who have a valid York Student ID Card.

Residents are invited to visit after 1pm across the weekend to explore the re-imagined JORVIK experience.

Visitors will be admitted on a first come, first served basis. No pre-booking is available for residents.

DIG – An Archaeological Adventure

You and your family are invited to dig, delve and discover the history of York at DIG!

Places will be available to York residents on each DIG tour throughout the day over Residents Festival weekend. Tours take place on the hour from 10am.
